Step right up, you can step right up, c'mon and step right up, it's only $10...
Now that the first motorcycle photography e-book is available, the next big challenge is to let people know that this resource exists!
Advertising, promotion, blogging... This is all new to me.
Here's what I'm doing to spread the word.
I'm keeping active on the forums at ADVrider and on a few other regional forums. I've been in touch with Grant at Horizons Unlimited about advertising. And I've sent out emails to RoadRunner, ADV rider magazine and the BMA newsletter for potential reviews.
Apparently, to be indexed by the system, I've got to type this code into a blog post : GQF4FNEKW63C
I'm looking at another way to promote the Motojournalism blog and e-book.
Technorati is a sort-of Google for blogs. It indexes them by catagory and generally makes it easier for people to find you. Gina at Save the Media explains the advantages.Apparently, to be indexed by the system, I've got to type this code into a blog post : GQF4FNEKW63C
There, that should do it.
What do you think? What other ways of announcing the first Motojournalism e-book are out there?
Let me know in the comments section below...

Don't settle for less
How do we do it? how do we do it? volume, volume, turn up the volume
Now you've heard it advertised, don't hesitate

Anton,
Glad you are back in one piece!
Concerning the workshop idea, I've said this before but I'll say it again: count me in! I'll be picking up your e-book in the near future.
Actually, I'd love a bound copy if it ever comes to that. Call me old fashioned!
Cheers!

Good to be back!
Oooh boy, would I love to have a nice hardcover copy of the book!
If there's enough people asking for real, printed books, I'll be looking into "print on demand" services like Lulu.com, or Blurb.com
These services allow you to print just a few books at a time. Ordering them in small batches sure beats the traditional printing method that leaves you with hundreds of unsold books moulding away in the garage!

I would love a hard cover copy as well, some thing to stick in the tank bag!
Also, you should look into linking to facebook and all of the social networking sites... like you can with You tube
